overview I have been doing biomedical research using the traditional as well as the state-of-the-art techniques for the nucleic acid and protein work including tissue culture for mammalian cells. Over the years I have trained several undergraduate students and technicians in my laboratory. In addition to directing the Protein and Nucleic Acid Core Facility, I also participate in collaborative projects. My current research focuses on glycobiology and its dynamic relationship to capillary endothelial cell proliferation and differentiation, i.e., angiogenesis during breast cancer progression. I have almost 35 years of experience working in the area of cell and molecular biology.
